A Family of Baptist Congregations in the Midlands of South Carolina

Our One Priority: Starting and Strengthening Churches to Serve as Vital and Vibrant Missional Communities.

Revealing the Best-Kept Secret About CMBA

The best-kept secret in our association is the group of people known as the CMBA Team Huddle. This group of 10 serves and supports our almost 100 congregations. They are available to help all CMBA congregations to be more vital and vibrant. Just let me know – or them directly – that you need help. They are a group of dedicated volunteers and part-time independent contract workers.

Julia Bell - Communications CoordinatorWhy is it the best-kept secret about CMBA? Because we have not shared enough information about these people, what they do, and how to connect with them. That makes it a secret to those who have not heard. Spotlight articles on each person – one per week on Tuesdays – over the next two months will reveal the secret.

A spotlight on Julia Bell was the first post last Tuesday. She is our communications coordinator. Click HERE each week to learn about others. Spotlight articles share what workers do and how you can connect with them. Feel free to contact them directly to address the opportunities and challenges faced by your congregation.

Chris ReinoldsCathy’s replacement is an interim so that the next executive director of CMBA can recommend how to fill this position on a more permanent basis. The Visionary Leadership Community has asked Chris Reinolds, pastor of Discovery Church, to serve as the interim Impacting Communities Mobilizer.
