Mark Your Calendar for Martin Luther King Day Worship and Fellowship

As CMBA does each year, we are sponsoring a worship and fellowship experience on Martin Luther King Day on January 17th at 6:00 p.m. The location will be finalized this week.

Our guest preacher will be Dr. David Emmanuel Goatley, former executive director of the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Society, which serves the four historically National Baptist denominations in the United States. Dr. Goatley is currently Associate Dean for Academic and Vocational Formation; Research Professor of Theology and Christian Ministry; and Director of Black Church Studies at Duke Divinity School of Duke University.

Look for more information in the coming weeks, including churches where he will preach on Sunday, January 16th.

Our One Priority Briefing and the Our One Priority Briefing Online Gathering are made possible by the financial gifts of the member and network connection congregations of the Columbia Metro Baptist Association at www.ColumbiaMetro.org, CMBA@ColumbiaMetro.org, or 803.619.7110.
