A Family of Baptist Congregations in the Midlands of South Carolina
Our One Priority: Starting and Strengthening Churches to Serve as Vital and Vibrant Missional Communities.
CANCELED: King Day Worship Celebration,
Monday, January 17th
Due to COVID-19 pandemic factors, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day worship celebration for Monday, January 17th is canceled – for now. (Our understanding is that many events in the Midlands of South Carolina sponsored by other groups for January 17th have either been canceled or will be held virtually.)
We feel that face-to-face dialogue on racial reconciliation is vital for Christian ministry in our diverse context. Therefore, we have already asked Dr. Goatley about coming to Columbia in the middle of March for a Racial Reconciliation Conversation.
As soon as details are worked out, we will share these with you.
