Congregations desiring to transform are willing to expand the number of choices they consider for their future. Their brainstorming is not narrow but broad. Their scenarios for the future are several and not one. The distance they are willing to journey is far. The transitions and changes they are willing to consider are many.
This does not mean they make radical, unrecognizable transitions and changes. It simply means they are willing to open themselves up to many possibilities and see what God might do with them. At some point they will be captivated by God’s choice for their future.
