On Sunday, Nov. 20, St. Andrews Baptist held a “Show Your Colors Day” ahead of the annual Clemson and Carolina rivalry game. Members dropped off nonperishable foods under their preferred team’s tent pitched just outside the Worship Center. After the service, children helped count the items. In all, members collected 1,300 nonperishable food items – and a narrow four-can victory was awarded to Carolina!
The collection was delivered to the CMBA Food Pantry, now housed at Northstar Center of Hope at 1410 Sunnyside Drive in Columbia.
