CMBA and Lexington Baptist Association are hosting a NAMB Send Relief Community Engagement training event on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 11am-1pm at the Lexington Association building.

Churches are strongly encouraged to attend this opportunity to grow community connections, and because one church in attendance will be selected to receive a free mission trip for 10 people to one of NAMB’s ministry centers.

The training will benefit pastoral staff members, missions pastors and leaders, as well as members of the congregation who are living on mission. Participants will learn three ways to better serve their neighbors, hear how Send Relief ministry centers in Ashland and Chicago are serving their communities, and learn how a Send Relief mission trip can help your church demonstrate compassion.

There is no cost to attend the training and lunch will be provided. Registration is requested by Oct. 5.

Lexington Baptist Association is located at 255 Two Notch Road in Lexington.
