Several CMBA churches are partnering with BCM to host an international student and teacher dance night on Thursday, April 30, from 6-9:30pm in the BCM building at 819 Main Street. This event will offer fun and fellowship, as well as the opportunity for CMBA churches and individuals to meet and begin building relationships with internationals who will attend.

Individuals interested in volunteering should sign up through this link. A Zoom meeting will be held at 7pm on Monday, April 27, to equip volunteers to interact well with internationals attending this event. CMBA encourages volunteers to follow up with invitations to homes for meals or coffee to share the hope of the gospel following the event.

BCM will be hosting this event, along with First Baptist Columbia, Shandon, and Spring Valley, who are providing food, drinks, and a photo booth. According to Associational Missions Strategist Jamie Rogers, additional CMBA individual and church participation is essential to the true purpose of this evangelistic outreach opportunity.

“If our churches don’t show up it will still be a fun night, but will be a wasted opportunity,” he says. “The expectation is for our church members to build relationships that lead to invitations to their homes or follow up meetings where the gospel will be shared.”
