In support of our local missions partners at Columbia International University and SendCola, CMBA is sharing information about Columbia Cup of Nations, an evangelistic international soccer event celebrating “culture, community, competition, and Christ through soccer” that will be held on Saturday, April 11, at Saluda Shoals Park.

The event begins with an opening ceremony at 9am, followed by soccer matches between teams of different nationalities held between 9:30am and 5pm. An award ceremony will conclude the event at 6pm. Food will be available as well as cultural activities and a bounce house for children.

Organizers encourage individuals and churches to participate in Columbia Cup of Nations by sponsoring or playing on a team, hosting an activity tent, joining the prayer team, and coming out to meet and engage with international neighbors from across the Midlands.

Volunteer through this sign-up link, sponsor a team through this sign-up link, or learn more about the program and ministry on the event’s website at www.ColumbiaCupOfNations.com.
