CMBA is launching a year-long training cohort designed for men exploring a call to pastoral ministry and open to pastors looking to sharpen ministry skills. Participants will learn practical aspects of ministry during monthly meetings led by CMBA pastors and other local and denominational leaders. The Collective will meet on the first Thursday of each month, except in July, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Palmetto Life Church.

According to Associational Missions Strategist Jamie Rogers, the CMBA Collective is designed to address the growing need for qualified men who are able to lead churches in effective gospel ministry. He invites CMBA church members to prayerfully identify men, including students, from within their congregations to join this Collective cohort.

“Many folks have noticed the need for more men who have been identified, called out, and equipped to serve as ministers in our churches. I’m excited about coming together with the leaders we have identified to lead these classes and to participate together in helping to train these men who will be future pastors in our churches,” Rogers says. “What better way is there to train men across the CMBA to lead in our churches than to train them by men who are already leading here? Our Collective is the first step in this process to assist our churches.”
