Student Minister Appreciation

One of the most important ministry roles in a congregation is the leader of the youth or student ministry. In the vast majority of congregations, this is a volunteer position. Whether a paid vocational or a volunteer position, these leaders have a responsibility to help teenagers navigate the complex journey from childhood to adulthood.

Youth or student ministry is an important time of spiritual values clarification, of setting Christ-like behavioral patterns, of moral values, and of responding to God’s ultimate call upon the life of youth/students. The world around youth/student is pulling them in multiple directions.

Those who minister among you who impact the lives of youth/students need special appreciation. Youth/student ministry is very much a moving target as knowing exactly why some things that worked last year now no longer work can be a mystery.

During this season of minister appreciation, hold up in prayer and multiple ways of support those who provide leadership to the youth/student ministry in your congregation.
