A Family of Baptist Congregations in the Midlands of South Carolina

Our One Priority: Starting and Strengthening Churches to Serve as Vital and Vibrant Missional Communities.

Thriving Congregations Series Begins This Week

The next four Tuesdays our weekly video conference will focus on two crucial seasons in the life of congregations. One is the UnThriving season when congregations are at-risk and should consider radical transition and change. The other is the Potential ReThriving season when congregations who are still strong with many choices have a great opportunity to thrive once more. We will spend two weeks talking about each type of congregation. Connect as you can when you perceive it is relevant to your congregation. Videos and other material will be posted after the conference each week to our website at https://columbiametro.org/thriving-congregations-soar-with-faith/.

“Thank You” To Congregations Financially Contributing Online

Thank you to the following five congregations who used our online giving link to make their contributions to our association during July: Concord, Crooked Run, Earlewood, Spring Valley, and Winnsboro First.

Here is the link for your use as an individual or congregation:  https://columbiametro.org/donate/. Consider donating using the electronic check choice and adding the 30 cent fee to cover the cost of making the contribution. It is half the cost of a stamp and envelope.

Contributing this way is safe and decreases the cost of our administrative overhead as your association, which allows your contributions to go farther in provide resources and ministry to our congregations. We appreciate this service which is provided by the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina at https://baptistfoundationsc.org/. They can provide this same service for your congregation as people share their tithes and offerings with you.

Our One Priority Briefing and the Our One Priority Briefing Online Gathering are made possible by the financial gifts of the member and network congregations of the Columbia Metro Baptist Association at www.ColumbiaMetro.org, CMBA@ColumbiaMetro.org, or 803.619.7110. To donate go to https://columbiametro.org/donate/. Gifts can be made to the general fund, to hunger ministry, or to disaster response.
