George Bullard Begins “Simple” Virtual Office Hours This Week
Sometimes pastors and staff persons in CMBA congregations say they would like to talk with George for a few minutes about one or more things that will help them serve their congregation better. Or they have a question about something great going on in our family of congregations. Or they just need a listening ear.
You might say, “If we still had a physical office, you would stop by to talk with George.” (We would respond that before we gave up our physical office less than one person per week dropped by without an appointment.) But that is not the issue and nor a helpful response. We want to be helpful and available, so we are trying something new.
If you have a question or need to talk for a few minutes, George needs to provide easy access for you. Great! We are glad to do so. Starting this week, George Bullard is offering “Simple” Virtual Office Hours. These are times you can call him and talk for a few minutes about anything you wonder about, share a need for some advice and counsel, or learn about a certain resource. Start thinking about your questions now.
Here is how it will work: 1. Each week in this One Priority Briefing, George will indicate the days and times he has set aside for the next seven to ten days for you to call him. 2. On those days and times, call him at 803.622.0923. If he does not answer, he is already on a call with someone else. Leave a voice mail message, and he will get back to you in the order of your call. 3. Need more than a few minutes? Fine. Just ask for a longer conversation by calling, texting, or sending an e-mail to GeorgeBullard@ColumbiaMetro.org. He will connect and set up a time with you. It is that simple! Give it a try this week!
Here are the upcoming “Simple” Virtual Office Hours: Monday, October 25th, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26th, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 27th, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 28th, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 1st, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2nd, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
