First Baptist Columbia is hosting a fellowship for medical professionals to learn more about medical missions on Saturday, October 4, at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Rebekah Naylor, a surgeon and former international medical missionary, will share how medical professionals can use their skills and training in missions settings.
Dr. Naylor answered the call to international missions at the age of 13. She holds an undergraduate degree from Baylor University, completed her Doctor of Medicine degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Naylor served in India for many years with the Foreign Mission Board, now known as the International Mission Board.
Any medical professional with an interest in missions is encouraged to attend the fellowship, to be held in the student ministry are of the Estep Family Life Center building at 1420 Sumter Street.
