Insight 333: FaithSoaring Churches Focus on the Right Gospel, Part Two

Congregations seeking to transform know they have multiple generations in their congregation.  Therefore, the words used to communicate the gospel, to worship, to nudge spiritual formation, and to inspire missional engagement may need to be different for different birth generations.

This relates to the language of the four gospels. The sense of duty and rules of Matthew inspire the Builder generation. But, they will not appeal to the Boomer, Buster, and Millennial generations in the same way and with the same effectiveness. What works for senior adults or empty nesters in a congregation will not work for teenagers and young adults.
