Insight 302: FaithSoaring Churches Draw Out of Adults Their Spiritual Needs

Congregations seeking to transform are not only focusing on high quality programs for children under 12 years old, but also on the faith development of the heads of households. Their parents, and others who lead their households, have spiritual needs. Often they are not called upon to express these because their focus is on the needs of their children.

Wise congregations organize for and staff for the needs of young adult households with a holistic approach that looks at the entire family unit starting with the perspectives of the heads of households. Seems counterintuitive, but it is an important perspective.
