Insight 272: FaithSoaring Churches Eliminate Entitlement [Part C]

Congregations seeking to transform are willing to eliminate anything that appears to be claiming an entitlement that is not part of the core mission of the congregation. Lay leaders feel entitlement also. They feel entitled to a certain role in the church. Either they have that role permanently, or are asked in regular rotation to accept that role.

They feel entitled to a worship service like they once knew. They feel entitled to sit where they want to sit, to park where they want to park, and come and go through the door they want to enter and exit.
