Insight 204: FaithSoaring Churches Ask One Another the Right Questions

Congregations seeking to transform regularly ask congregational participants direct questions about their spiritual formation. This is one of the two most important questions to ask. For congregations to transform they must be part of an ongoing spiritual journey of many people connected with the congregation.

Without this the changes in the congregation are transactional rather than transformational. They are short-term, not long-term. They are organizational rather than the actions of a living, breathing, moving, ever-changing organism.

The challenge is that many congregations are too shallow in their relationships with God and one another to ask these questions.
