Insight 157: FaithSoaring Churches Face the Demographic Truths

Too many congregations want to reach a community context that does not exist where they are. They want a context that is growing in population, but that may not be their situation. They want a context made of people just like them who have the same interests and perspective about church, but that may not be their situation. They want a context composed of people of the same socioeconomics, race and ethnicity, and linguistics, but increasingly that is not the situation for many congregations.

As a result, many congregations say there was no one for them to reach. Really!
