Insight 155: FaithSoaring Churches Focus on What They Can Do

Too many congregations focus on what they cannot do. Congregations needing to transform often have a full-fledged illness called Can’t Do-itis. They are frozen in place because they cannot reach new people, they cannot connect with Millennials, they can’t do something because of who will oppose it, they can’t do something else because they do not have the money, and they can’t engage in a new initiative because they do not have the leadership.

Congregations seeking to transform focus on what they can do. They nurture their passion around the new opportunities God places before them. They have been healed from Can’t Do-itis.
