Insight 116: FaithSoaring Churches Focus Conversations on the Future

It is difficult for congregations to transform if they have no focused conversations about their future. If what congregations primarily talk about is the past, then there is no future in that. If what congregations primarily talk about the tyranny of the urgent, then there is no future in that. While the past and present are important, that is not where congregations are headed tomorrow.

Focused conversations about the hopes and dreams of congregations puts their past and present in perspective regarding their future. It provides them with goals; with something significant yet to accomplish that may reveal new opportunities.
