The CMBA Advisory Team meeting will be held virtually, ahead of the 6pm Executive Team meeting at North Trenholm.
The CMBA Executive Team Meeting will be held at 6pm in the St. Andrews Baptist Fellowship Hall. Supper will be provided and requires an RSVP to attend. Churches will receive an emailed invitation and RSVP form.
CMBA is hosting a School Ministry Training event in partnership with Heart4Schools, held on September 24 from 10am-1pm at New Creation Baptist. All CMBA churches are encouraged to attend to learn how to better engage with community schools! No cost to attend - but there is a sign up for lunch! Click here to register.
In partnership with the Lexington Baptist Association, CMBA supports ministries ahead of the SC State Fair, which is held Oct. 9-20, 2024. On Sunday, Oct. 6-Tuesday, Oct. 8, Lee Butler is coordinating prayerwalking opportunities throughout the fairgrounds. CMBA is collecting individually-wrapped baked goods (cake slices, cookies, brownies, etc.) to include in the Monday bagged lunches and supper that evening. Fair workers get excited about homemade goodies, but bought items may be individually-wrapped for these meals as well! Forged Together is a CMBA pastors' lunch gathering. In 2024, it will be held on the second Thursday from 11:30-1pm during the following months - January, March, May, August, October, and December. CMBA pastors are encouraged to participate in this time of fellowship, discussion, and personal challenge. Spain partners will attend the October gathering.
During their fall visit to the Midlands, CMBA's missions partners serving in Spain will meet with Carolina BCM students to share about their work and student missions opportunities. Presentation begins at 12pm in the BCM building at 819 Main Street in Columbia.
